My week-end in a cave

I could make the story very long... and I will in a next post. But for now I prefer posting the movie of our week end near Krasnoiarsk... In brief: a very intense week end with little sleep, a long walk on a frozen lake, a visit of a cave for 36 hours with lots of ice and bats and cold...and nobody else but the 4 of us.

Great video, lovely music, do I see the top 40 in your future? I hope so, because you need to invest in better transport. One guy there has his own fricking hovercraft! Another dude has a lada, complete with rear door for shouting abuse. Some guys even have a pretty cool motorbike. And what have you got? A sledge!

Ian, first, I would like to know how you manage to get 13 comments on your night at Heathrow, which you will confess is only a mild adventure (even if well narrated), while my nights under the siberian permafrost and my walk on the lake received only 1 comment... yours. Even your message on your dull Friday night feeding your bunny Tim raised more interest... What else should I do? I already swam by -28C, showed my underwear at least 5 times and drove my car on purpose in snowbanks...What should be my next stunt? Combination of all these, all at once?
As for the transport you are right. I can't even afford huskies to pull my sledge. Life is hard, it is time the dollar reevaluates before I burn my sledge for warmth...

I find ranting works. Nobody reads my happy posts about what a lovely day I had, but when I'm grumpy everyone gets grumpy back. I think you should definitely try driving your sledge into a snowbank in your underwear at -28C. A video of that ought to attract way more than 13 comments.
